FUNCTION DESCRIPTIONS
The following lists describe how the deadbolt operates for 48H &
49H cylinder deadlock functions. When ordering a deadlock, specify
the handing of the door.
Warning!
Locks that secure both sides of the door are controlled by
building codes and the Life Safety Code. In an emergency exit
situation, failure to quickly unlock the door could be hazardous
or even fatal.

Note 1: Specify the hand of the door.
Note 2: Inside turn knob retracts the deadbolt, but
does not project it.
Note 3: Can be used on 1 3/4″ thick doors only.
